CSEM's 2025-26 Concert Season

In its first season since 2020, CSEM presents a wide range of compelling and inspiring music from the medieval, baroque, and classical periods. Three unique and distinguished ensembles perform at venues in Cambridge, Weston, and Beverly Farms Massachusetts. Join us!

Relaunch Celebration

Our fall fundraiser: a late afternoon gathering in cafe style with musical and edible treats, to celebrate CSEM's legacy and support its future as a beacon for the Greater Boston early music community. In honor of our late James S. Nicolson, CSEM gathers several of his friends to perform favorites from Handel and more.

New England Baroque: Baroque Connections - Friends and Rivals

Examining relationships between 17th-century composers in the city of Venice; friendship between Handel and Telemann, rivalry between Handel and Porpora, and more.

Arrow Quartet: Viennese Impressions - String Quartets from the Age of Enlightenment

Centering Mozart’s string quartet in e-flat, k. 428, often referred to as “the father of the string quartet,” alongside works by Guiseppe Cambini and Franz Xaver Richter.

Ticketing:

In an effort to make our concerts accessible to all, our three 2025-26 Concert Season programs will be Pay-What-You-Can, with a suggested donation of $25/person. 

Ticket income alone does not begin to cover concert expenses. A donation supports CSEM in bringing acclaimed ensembles and musicians to Massachusetts, providing high-level engaging public programs, and welcoming audiences of all means. We hope you will consider joining one of our donation circles when planning to attend:

Guardian – $100
1 ticket with a donation which meets our concert expenses, guards CSEM’s future, and helps us to bring early music to all

Sustainer – $75
1 ticket with a donation which sustains high-level presentations by meeting concert expenses

Patron – $50
 1 ticket with a donation which supports some concert expenses such as musician fees

Supporter – $25
1 ticket with a donation which supports some concert expenses such as musician fees

Friend – $10
1 ticket with a donation
